WELCOME TO The North East Historical Society
Every town has a story. Ours is written through generations of families, businesses, schools, vineyards, and neighbors who helped shape North East into the community it is today.
By preserving photographs, documents, artifacts, and personal memories, we ensure these stories remain accessible—not only for today's residents, but for future generations who will one day call North East home.
Explore a growing collection of historical records, family histories, maps, yearbooks, photographs, and artifacts that tell the story of North East's past.
Whether you're researching your family tree or simply curious about the community, our collections offer something new to discover.
History is preserved by people who care.
Your membership, volunteer efforts, donations, and shared stories help us protect North East's heritage while supporting educational programs, museum exhibits, and future preservation projects.
Step inside the museum, attend a community event, or explore the places that continue to shape North East's story.
